Plumber — Underfloors & Stormwater

The Role

A residential construction specialist with a strong and growing pipeline of new home builds across southern and western Adelaide is adding a plumber to their team. They’ve recently taken on a significant volume of underfloor plumbing work on top of existing stormwater and sewer drain contracts — and need someone to keep up with demand.

This isn’t a backfill. The business is growing and they need someone who can come in, get comfortable across multiple sites, and grow with them. Looking to get the right person started ASAP.

$45–$47/hr (negotiable on experience) | Permanent full-time | Overtime available

The Work

You’ll be working across all three areas:

Underfloor rough-ins — pre-slab installations on new home builds (going in before the concrete is poured)
Stormwater systems — installation across residential new builds
Sewer drains — standard residential new construction drainage

If you’ve done underfloors, the rest comes naturally. Technical but consistent work once you know it.

Who We’re Looking For

Open on experience level — what matters is that you actually know underfloors:

Newly out of your time but did solid underfloor work through your apprenticeship? You’ll get a look
2–3 years post-trade with hands-on underfloor and stormwater exposure? Even better

Requirements

Certificate III in Plumbing
Ability to read residential plumbing plans
Driver’s licence and transport to the yard each morning
Reliable, practical, and comfortable working across multiple sites with minimal supervision

Pay & Conditions

$45–$47/hr — negotiable depending on experience
Permanent, full-time
Optional overtime available
Meet at the yard each morning — travel to sites in the work truck from there
Work across southern Adelaide and western suburbs through to Port Adelaide
Small crew working directly with the business owner
Practical, no-fuss culture — your work ethic matters more than your resume
